Bluegreen Vacations Parkside Williamsburg Resort receives mixed reviews, with many guests praising its convenient location near Busch Gardens, spacious units with full kitchens, and friendly staff. However, recurring concerns include noise levels, maintenance issues (especially with soundproofing and appliance malfunctions), and frustrations with the membership structure and aggressive sales tactics. Newer reviews suggest improvement in customer service and unit updates.
This is definitely the kind of accommodations we're accustomed to! I only wish we booked for a longer stay! I totally felt like I was at home!
I checked in 2/13/26 and I was told that it was a newer unit/building I was going in to. On Saturday I saw roaches that I did not bring with me. I informed front desk and nothing was done. This continued throughout the day and I was so inconvenienced. The property is decent and so are the looks of the units. They offered me a refund of $126 for my truma which is no where near what I paid to basically stay in my car
This is a Bluegreen Resort, which was recently purchased by Hilton vacation club. We are members so we are using points to stay vs paying a nightly fee. You are across the road from Busch Gardens. We are staying during the off-season so the pool is closed. There is not a hot tub or indoor pool unfortunately. This is a great resort for staying in the summer if you are going to go to Busch Gardens because you are just across the road and you have an outdoor pool. The building we are staying in is building three, it is the furthest one from the club house. This unit looks like it has been recently updated in the past year. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a gas log fireplace and laundry area. The unit is approximately 600 ft.². The two bedrooms are good size and one is a master suite with a very large bathroom and walk-in shower. They have complimentary packages of coffee, laundry & dish soap. Full kitchen with cooking utensils, plates, pots & pans. You just need to supply your own groceries of course. There is shampoo, lotion and soap supplied also. I did a video of the unit but it’s too large to upload.
The carpet in the master bedroom was dirty and stained. The media room only had a small TV without surround sound. And there should have been a short que and bridge for the pool table.
This was my 2nd time here. The first time with my kids.I came here like 14 years ago.I didnt get to explore it back then. This visit was great and my kids loved .I am in the process of planning another visit. The staff was amazing. It is so relaxing and the location is what I really enjoyed , Peaceful. The amenities were amazing. The kids enjoyed the game room and the fitness center.I loved the peaceful time.I am ready to visit them again.I would like to thank the staff that was working during my stay. Everyone of them were so welcoming and friendly.
We started in a presidential house. There were a few things in need of repair. The microwave was broken when we arrived. They sent maintenance the next day to replace it. Maintenance was very professional and courteous. They told us that the residence was scheduled for upgrades soon. We were 5-7 minutes from the parks. Grocery stores were close by.
Pros - wonderful customer service, nice location, condos are nice, beds are comfortable, full kitchen, washer & dryer Cons - we were on the second floor of building one & someone above us literally let a child run NONSTOP back & forth and it was extremely loud & disruptive. We put up with it the day of our arrival but once it started again at 6:30 am the next morning and was non-stop, we ended having to make two phones calls to the front desk to report the disruption. The manager thankfully ultimately moved us to a third floor unit in another building where we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation in peace. Although it was an inconvenience for us to have to pack everything up to move in 90 + degree heat, we really appreciated the manager assigning us to another unit where we were able to enjoy a peaceful room. On a side note, as a parent, I can sympathize with having kids with lots of energy but it cannot be to the point of effecting those around you trying to enjoy their vacation. At the point that I received a call from the front desk about my child disrupting the family below me I would have redirected my child not to run across the floor non-stop but the child continued to run across the floor and never stopped which prompted the second call. In this particular instance, I think this was an isolated incident but if the floors are paper thin, it might be less stressful for vacationers to put those with younger kids on the first floor.
The train noise is pretty significant. Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear neighbors and God forbid you have someone above you that walks with heavy steps. Even my noise machine did not drown that out. And they paced every night all night.....
A beautiful resort at a great location--we were mere minutes away from multiple historical attractions and basically across the street from Busch Gardens. The wifi in the room was horrible and we kept having no hot water for showers, but the suite was still incredibly clean and comfy for us.
Rooms were clean. Check-in was quick. Pool area was great. We watched the fireworks from Busch Gardens from our bedroom window. It was great.
