Guests rave about the high-quality, spacious suites, incredibly friendly and helpful front desk staff (particularly Gio, Tony B., and Melissa), and the extensive family-friendly amenities including heated pools, mini golf, and craft activities. However, there are significant safety and maintenance concerns, including a reported theft in a nearby cottage, noisy exterior corridors with thin walls, and issues with bathroom temperatures and outdated decor in some long-stay units.

My wife and I had a great time at this resort. Gio provided outstanding service at the front desk and Malissa helped us have an amazing time in the activities center. We were also impressed with the quality of the suite.

Our family group of eight people booked three individual rooms at this hotel for December 18 check in and December 20 check out. We were given rooms about a block away from the main hotel in cottage type apartments. While away for the day on the 19th I came back to find that my jewelry was stolen. We reported this to the hotel manager who had someone come out and check the door and three times it read incorrectly. They took a report and we have never heard from them again, after they told us they would keep in touch. We should have filed a police report, but I thought the hotel would take care of it. IF YOU STAY HERE MAKE SURE YOUR VALUABLES ARE NOT LEFT BEHIND, WE HAD A DO NOT DISTURB NOTICE ON OUR DOOR, WHICH WAS APPARENTLY IGNORED! I would recommend staying somewhere else. When we return to Virginia, we will NOT stay at a Westgate Hotel. Over decades of traveling and cruising, this is the first time we were robbed. Now we have learned our lesson.

My stay here was amazing. Team member Tony B. who checked my wife and I in was very professional, hospitable, and friendly. My wife came here in the winter and the only concern with the room was the bathroom was cold. The room would get warm but he bathroom if door was left closed was cold inside. Overall a very good stay.

Room has more to offer newly renovated room compared from the previous years we stayed on this Westgate property. * reasons for 3 stars was the noise, dogs were barking almost the whole time including night. I reported it and nothing happened. * the noise is unbelievable, you can hear guests talking, spa next door was loud and guests walking in the hallway and at the parking * on the better side Tony B. Front Desk was very accommodating and has a big smile. He was able upgrade our room to single bedroom instead of studio. * the worst part was the sals team, next day. My wife and I was very disappointed and treated like very bad. Sales team acted clowns with no manners and trying to use the old book selling you to upgrade. Details will be send to the main corporate office for their bad behaviors.

Room was exceptionally clean and had wonderful amenities. The staff was super helpful and polite. Due to our plans we didn’t take advantage of the activities at the hotel but they had great things planned. Would be great to come with kids or as a couple. 10/10 recommend and will return. Stayed in a one bedroom villa. William was exceptionally helpful.

Fantastic experience in the activity center!! The crafts are high quality and Melissa is beyond amazing! She speaks directly to the kids in a friendly personable manner and the whole time we were there she was actively engaged in working with kiddos. There’s several amenities here that we’ve enjoyed: buying discount tickets in the gift room, heated pool (yep, it’s open in December!), fitness center, closeness to all the things. The front desk is also very hospitable.

Great location. Accessible to all historical areas. We did the glass painting activity and tea time with Melissa who made it fun, and personal. She was very accommodating to what we liked and made us feel comfortable. She deserves a five star.

Tony B checked us in and was very courteous. Plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance. While we didn't use any of the amenities during our stay, we did scope them out and they seemed like they would be fun! Will definitely need to do more next time we are down!

Thanks to Tony B for helping check us in for our weekender trip to Busch Gardens. Service was fast & friendly, and the room was clean and ready when we arrived. Loved that the in-room fridge did get our drinks cold, not always a given at hotels. The hotel also has a small minigolf course out back with free equipment rental, a fun add on if you have time.

Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Cannot beat the central location. There were a few minor maintenance issues - one suite’s bathroom door did not close - and minor paint peeling. The welcome and check-in were great - Tony B.- is super helpful. Very pet friendly making this a great choice for the whole family.
