My wife and I stayed at Bay Tree Manor from May 28th to June 8th in order to see our grandson’s final symphonic band concert and his HS graduation 8 days later. The setting in Seaford, with great views of the bay from the dining room, living room, kitchen and our bedroom was magnificent. The Manor is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The gourmet breakfasts, one after another during our LONG stay, were varied and absolutely delicious, utterly photographable, and so bountiful that we never touched the food we had brought along for lunches and snacks. Refreshing drinks and tempting home baked cookies were available throughout the day. Each night when we returned to Bay Tree, it felt like going home! In fact, during our 11 hour return drive to Buffalo, NY, we said to each other how it was the only stay away from our home in which we felt that way, and how we missed our hosts. We are looking forward to an opportunity to return. Below is what my wife so appropriately wrote in the guest book in the form of an acrostic poem. Paige and Mark Stephens, proprietors of Virginia's premier B&B, Are thoroughly dedicated to the Incomparable care and comfort of their guests. Generosity is the hallmark of their Enthusiastic welcome for every visitor… AND have we mentioned the splendid breakfasts?! Mark and Paige have an uncanny Ability to anticipate and fulfill any need, making Bay Tree Manor a Respite from the noisy demands of a bustly world. They Are Kindness personified.

Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary and had a real splendid time at the B&B. Mark and Paige are very friendly and welcoming to the guests. Breakfast was perfect and the location is close to historic Yorktown to do exploring. The turndown service and little touches made the stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend to anyone.

My husband and I were beyond delighted with our stay at the Bay Tree Manor. Tucked away in the little town of Seaford, this bed and breakfast offered everything we needed: a perfect location for exploring the History Triangle, a gorgeous setting (deer! bay view!), and outstanding hospitality. Mark and Paige are gracious, warm, and friendly. We felt as if we were staying with dear friends- who just happened to serve us gourmet breakfasts each day! Our room was quiet, beautiful, and comfortable without being "fussy." I hope we have a chance to return!

One of the best experiences my wife and I have had. Mark & Paige are the most amazing nice and fun people we have met. The hospitality is unmatched from any places we have been. Place is very clean and set up perfectly. They have accommodations for so many events or parties. The food that was prepared was all made with the best of love and skill. Would highly recommend if you are looking to visit the area you have to stay here you will not be disappointed.

We love Bay Tree manor! We loved having our wedding at this gorgeous place. They have a perfect size for a beautiful event. The family that runs this business is professional & kind. They did an amazing job restoring this historic place and adding to its charm. The rooms are pristine and the bathroom is gorgeous! Well the whole place is just gorgeous and relaxing. Wow! Super nice and friendly couple that welcomed us into their home. Gorgeous rooms and amenities with beautiful nature surrounding the property. The view of the bay was the highlight of our stay. You will experience a delicious and fabulous gourmet breakfast. Eggs Benedict was our favorite.

The Bay Tree Manor is an exceptional experience! It is located in a picturesque setting on an inlet of the Chesapeake Bay. When you walk in through the front door, you are greeted by a picture postcard view of the Bay, the built in swimming pool with terrace and the finely manicured grounds. We were greeted by Mark and Paige as we exited our car. They were warm and welcoming. And it was genuine! We had a chat in the great room as we entered. They are very easy people to talk to. We could tell from those first minutes that they had found their "dream job" as innkeepers. Breakfast each morning of our 5 night stay, was a culinary surprise and a delight. Mark was always careful to gauge our eating preferences and he always was on target. When I told him we didn't care for spicy food, I only had to say it that one time. I asked for my coffee a certain way and for the next 4 mornings there Paige remembered. Our room, as well as the common area, was spotless. There was an attention to detail that we haven't seen. Courtesy slippers (NEW!), plenty of bottled water, bed turndown and chocolate on our pillows! Mark and Paige made us feel special. They were preparing to host a wedding for 160 people the day after we left. With all the preparations they had to do, nothing we asked for was ignored or regarded as unimportant. One night we chose to get wine and cheese for dinner. Paige told us to get anything we needed from her beautiful kitchen. We appreciated that. We have been to about 40 bed and breakfasts in the last 20 years. Bay Tree Manor is at the top of our list by far. Other innkeepers should book a stay there to learn a few charms of the trade. On relatively short notice, we decided to have our wedding at Baytree Manor rather than the steps of the Courthouse. What a perfect decision! Not only is Baytree Manor located in my favorite coastal town, it’s got the best views too! From start to finish, Paige & Mark are the best of the best in hospitality! Kindness is the word that wraps them up in a nutshell. Mark’s breakfast deserves a Michelin Star! Paige’s attention to detail & charm are unmatched! The suite we had provided a true sanctuary for us to relax after our special day! The beds are SO comfy and the amenities are dreamy. We can’t wait to stay every year for our anniversary! Whether you’re looking for a romantic weekend getaway or a dream come true location for your wedding … this is the place!

Wow—what an amazing stay! From the moment we walked in, Mark and Paige made us feel completely at home. They are the kind of hosts who genuinely care and go out of their way to make everything special. The rooms were gorgeous, super comfortable, and filled with those little touches that make you want to stay forever. And the breakfasts… absolutely incredible! Every morning was such a treat, and you could tell they put so much love into it. This place isn’t just a bed and breakfast—it feels like staying with old friends who happen to have a beautiful home and unbelievable cooking skills. We left feeling refreshed, spoiled, and already planning our next trip!

Mark and Paige were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed sitting on the peaceful back patio looking out over the bay with a glass of wine after a great day of Cobia fishing. The breakfast the next morning was 5 star. I highly recommend staying at Baytree Manor anytime you are in need of a relaxing getaway.
