Extended Stay America consistently receives mixed reviews, often highlighting its convenient location but plagued by cleanliness issues, insect infestations, and a lack of consistent service. While some guests appreciate its value and staff friendliness, recurring complaints about dirty rooms, outdated facilities, and staff behavior significantly impact the overall experience.

The only good thing about this place was the location. We stayed in the 2 room suite, arrived later in the day for check in, the room had a weird odor, the a/c unit in the window didn't have a plug, the bathrooms hadnt been swept for a while. The rooms do not have coffee pots and the hotel won't even entertain coffee before 6am (even though we needed to be leaving around that time). The hotel seems more like a hotel that rents by the hour not a normal extended stay. Place was so bad, we chose to drive home after our 12 hour day instead of attempting to stay the extra night we originally booked

The location is great, especially for the price. If you plan to stay longer than 7 days, make sure to bring roach spray, your own cleaning supplies & find a laundromat elsewhere close by because even if the washer or dryers are available, they're nasty inside, they're not getting cleaned out, therefore too expensive to get your clothes dirtier than they were before putting them in. There is NO housekeeping to count on & if you want it, you get an attitude from the housekeeper who's telling you that you have to request it many days in advance & make sure to keep reminding them, because they will forget. It can get quite loud outside late at night. Other guests invite friends to hang out in the parking lot to play loud music & get to screaming & yelling, scaring my cat. It can become a bit stressful & its rude period. Night staff, especially female, doesn't care, usually partying out there with them. The daytime staff are excellent & extremely professional. I absolutely love Debbie, she makes sure your taken care of & she is so nice & extremely helpful. The manager JD is awesome as well. I go to work at 2 pm & work 9 or 10+ hrs a night, 6 days a week. It'd be nice to get back to the hotel after work & not have to worry about nowhere to park cuz other guests have company over to hang out in a hotel parking lot to party. There's trash left outside & inside. They leave the outside door open for their friends to come in & out of, which is a highly unsafe feeling. But the worst thing about this hotel is the roaches! Keep your food locked away tightly & keep your room cleaned. That helps alot. I hope my honest review doesn't affect the way I get treated there.

There were no extra bedding available for the pull-out bed, no pots/pans, dishes or silverware available. When the pullout-out couch was pulled out, the mattress was dirty, there were used blankets, small toys, and potato chip crumbs (and a diaper) inside. I decided to leave and they were nice about giving me a refund.

These rooms are absolutely unacceptable. I looked at 4 different rooms because the first one had a roach family there looking at me like I was in the wrong room. Each other room I checked, had the same thing, different family. For the price they charge for the rooms, I expected far better quality. Now I don't want breakfast, or anything they have to offer. The sad part is that it's in a good part of town. I wouldn't think I looked like this. The whole building should be shut down and fumigated fully. I will discourage anyone from coming here. Pay some more money and go to courtyard Marriot but NOT this place.

Absolutely disgusting. I got in and didn’t think too much about it , it was late and I was exhausted. I passed out woke up in the middle of the night and saw hair , everywhere , and roaches . There was trash under the bed and more hair ……. The manager wasn’t on duty until the next morning . He did fully refund me But it’s simple to sweep , and clean up . Clearly they don’t care about cleanliness at all .

Roach motel. Disgusting stay! From the staff to the cleanliness to the amenities. This place was a horrible choice. Let’s start with the “breakfast”. It was basically packaged food that were terrible. Most days it wasn’t ready at the designated time and the easiest thing, the coffee, was missing more than once. We found a reach in day 2 of our 5 nights. Another on day 3. Then 5 of varying sizes on our last day. Then there was the spider that surprised my kid coming out of the bathroom. They only clean the rooms once a week. My favorite thing was the staff member who was selling or smoking weed with/to the guests. He was a nice enough guy, but for all the time he wasted, you’d think he could work on cleaning the doors or something. Our stay was capped off by a wonderful domestic violence incident across the hall, loud banging doors all night, and thumping footsteps. I will never stay here again.

Would if I ever stay here again? Absolutely not. I had work responsibilities in town, so I stayed for 15 night late October into early November. By the time I moved in with my 2 cats, I decided to just deal with the issues instead of checking out and finding a new place. I booked my room with a lady over the phone, and upon arrival, the front desk quoted me a different total (they tried to charge me for 3 cats instead of my 2; each additional pet was about $250). I had to speak to a manager thr next day to get my bill fixed after arriving. Upon walking into the room, I couldn't help but notice the odor. It smelled like musty dog. My couch smelled even worse. I'm pretty sure a dog had previously peed on it, and they flipped the cushions around to hide a stain (I did not want to move them to look, so I covered it with a blanket to sit down and watch TV. The TV was positioned on a short table across from the couch, so you couldn't watch it from anywhere else). This hotel clearly has transient people. I never felt unsafe, but some of the customers looked borderline homeless. My room faced the parking lot, and right outside my room are tables. People would sit on the tables drinking and smoking very loudly on the weekend until close to midnight. It was hard to fall asleep at times. The BUGS. I didn't notice them the first day or two, but there were at least 2 types of bugs in my room. Roaches and some other small bug. I saw bugs come out of the ethernet hole in the wall. Bug dropping collected on my charger. The carpets had small stains throughout. Thr laminate floors in the kitchen and bathroom looked like they hadn't been properly mopped in ages. I refused to go barefoot in the room. My kitchenette was missing the microwave plate, so my TV dinners didn't heat properly and wouldn't rotate. These rooms are supposedly "fully equipped," but you have to go to the front desk to get chipped dinner plates and old cooking ware. "Breakfast" is included, but all it was was a cheap packaged muffin, packets of oatmeal, and tasteless coffee. One of the days I was there working from my room, the water was shut off all day. TLDR: DO NOT STAY HERE. It's loud, filthy, and smelly.

The room was foul, dirty, smelly and disgusting. Attached is a photo of what appears to be fecal matter on the wall of the bathroom which represents the cleanliness level throughout. Dirt and smudges everywhere reflect a systemic lack of cleaning. The furniture’s worn out. A towel bar was broken in the bath. Even the TV set was dirty. The foul smell, construction materials piled in the hallway, and a broken window made it worse. Then the ill-fitting fitted sheet came off in the middle of the night leading to sweaty sleep on the plastic sheet before waking up to discover the problem. Gross.

I've stayed in this Extended Stay for several months while working in the area. I travel with my family, and it's very convenient for us, they have 2 bedroom suites, which are a great size, very clean, and they try to keep the rooms updated and everything in working order. We've never had any issues, they don't bother us, and everyone in the front desk is always very friendly and kind. The area is also very peaceful and very convenient to restaurants and shopping, there's a park and walking trails around the corner. We love it here.

I made a reservation early the day before my check in, upon arrival I asked the clerk about room location, she advised me I got the very last room, I already knew this was not good. We unloaded our belongings, opened the room door, immediately saw 5 roaches running across the floor. The bare floor was sticky, and the room smelled like an old church bus. I immediately went back to the office shaking my head, the clerk had already said she refunded my money without me saying a single word. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, AND IF THE PRICE SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE USUALLY IT IS. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
