Stayed one night for a quick mother- daughter weekend in Williamsburg. The room was very clean, comfortable, and accurate to online photos. The shower felt luxurious after a hot day about town. It was a great location, only minutes from Colonial Williamsburg as well as downtown Yorktown and other notable sites in the area. We loved the retro vibe/classical motel feel and the price to match. The check in/checkout process was easy and all digital. That said, I'm rating 4 stars because the check in/check out times were not included in my booking info and it took a while to locate on the website. 4pm is also a bit late for checking in. Secondly, they advertise a light continental breakfast, but thats a generous description. While there I only saw a slice of bread, pre-packaged pop tarts, and a few spare tea bags so I would recommend upping those offerings (banana, yogurt parfait, muffins) or posting a menu of what's available for guests (the reception was tiny so food should have been obvious when you walked in). Also, I found the digital contact a bit impersonal, though there was a nice staff member at reception on the weekend. Lastly, we didnt take advantage of all the amenities, but there is a separate ice house on site for ice and water, and we were thrilled that the room had a small fridge/freezer for our cooler. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Rochambeau Roadside Inn this past weekend. We had gotten married and decided to have a close to home honeymoon at this cute Roadside Inn! The check-in process was a breeze. The room was incredibly clean. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly and easy to communicate with! We had added the cozy-up package and sweatshirts to our stay and everything was already in the room when we got there! The robes were such a nice touch and would definitely recommend adding it to your stay to feel extra fancy! When we got to our room we saw that the staff also added a few stickers, a classic room key keychain, and a postcard congratulating us on our marriage. It was so sweet. The Inn was very close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and there is lots to offer in the area! We will absolutely be back and have already talked about coming back next year for our anniversary… this may become a tradition for us!

Oh my goodness what a gem! We stayed in the General’s Quarters with our two young kids. The layout was perfect. The place feels new, clean, and well-appointed - they get all the little touches just right. The light breakfast in the morning was very convenient before heading to CW and Busch Gardens for the day. Friendly staff and helpful text reminders and tips. Highly recommend. I already want to come back.

I had a really lovely weekend stay at the Rochambeau Motel in Williamsburg. The whole place has a very aesthetic, cozy feel that makes it a perfect little getaway spot. Close to the Colonial stores and outlets. Everything was extremely clean, comfortable, and well put together, which made the stay feel relaxing from the moment we arrived. Lauren, Brett, and Jen took great care of us the entire time. They were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall it was such a comforting, enjoyable stay for the weekend, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, charming place to stay in Williamsburg.

Absolutely adorable motel! Truly a "step back in time" in the very best way! Charming retro vibe with all the modern conveniences you want & need! Beautiful renovation throughout and the owner's mom's banana bread on Saturday morning was the best! They support local business too! I'm really picky about just about everything & I was very happy to stay here!

My wife and I stayed for one night. Very clean and updated rooms. Parking was nice. Lobby and breakfast was great, as well and the nice clerk. There are outdoor games, patio and seating to enjoy also, but it was damp during our stay. Can’t go wrong with this beautiful timepiece!

This place is perfectly adorable and quaint. The breakfast was amazing (splurge on the breakfast sandwich) and the rooms are cozy and comfy. Decor of the lobby is so precious and customer service via text and in person at breakfast was perfection. It’s off the beaten path a bit from campus but really quiet and private and within minutes to any attraction. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect, definitely a local hidden gem. We had the king size handicap room. Walker fit well in room. Shower was easy to transfer from walker ( rollator) to built in shower seat. Lyle the owner is wonderful to communicate with and his boutique hotel has thoughtful touches throughout. We loved staying here for our honeymoon.

not your average hotel stay! super cute and clean rooms, every inch of this accommodation was picture perfect! would love to return in the springtime, so close to colonial williamsburg and all the great restaurants around that area

We recently stayed at the Rochambeau Roadside Inn and honestly cannot recommend it enough! It completely exceeded our expectations and was a highlight of our trip to Williamsburg. First off, the room was fantastic and the staff was so friendly! It was spotless, well designed and you can tell they put so much thought into the renovations; it felt like a high-end boutique hotel rather than a standard roadside stop. The lobby is also worth a special mention. It’s so cool, has such a great vibe (the wallpaper is amazing), and it was the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee before heading out for the day. One of our absolute favorite memories from the trip was spending the evening by the outdoor fire pit. We roasted marshmallows with our kids and made s'mores, which was a great way to end our day in Williamsburg. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for better. It is super close to Colonial Williamsburg and a very quick drive or bike ride away making it the perfect "base camp" for seeing the history around town. If you are looking for a unique, comfortable, and friendly place to stay in Williamsburg, this is the place to stay!!! We will be back!
