If I could give it no stars I would it was Nasty and disgusting , couldn’t get help to get a refund it was like we were stuck with it for the night first the too Had two door the one door had been ripped off then we go in there’s bugs on the bed we had to find and kill then the door was filthy a little soap and water wouldn’t of hurt the door then the fridge was nasty as well it had stuff spilled all in it like how can you give someone a room like that and say it’s clean. I wanted a refund. Then I wake up to a bunch of people that live there well have been there for awhile asking me for cigarettes. I stayed in my car half the night because the room was nasty didn’t even shower there we couldn’t wait til morning to leave I wrote choice hotels they said the actual hotel would have to refund me for the stay. That I would hear something back and I haven’t yet.

Location is fantastic and has great breakfast next door. Staff where freindly checking in. And rooms where very clean. Carpet was a bit crusty but bed spread and pillows where all very clean and bath room was very nice with hot water. Great value for money and was definatly worth staying. August 2026.

The location was good but the room was the worse I’ve ever stayed in. We booked for closeness to Busch Gardens park. The pictures looked good so I felt okay about the decision. The rooms are pretty bad though and I will definitely be second guessing myself from now on. There were people fighting outside our room. There was mold in the shower. The room was completely run down and was not cleaned our whole 3 day stay.

The guy at the front desk was super nice and helpful-I think his name was Shawn. The pool area was nice. Thats about all the good I have to say about this place. The location was ok, wasnt in a bad area necessarily but we did hear a lot of sirens that evening and late in the night, we heard a couple fighting and screaming at each other. I believe there are people who live there all the time. I was under the impression we would get a rather large room with two queen beds and a couch (based on hotel website pictures) Our first room was one king bed and a couch. We have kids-that wasnt going to work. We ended up getting a room with two beds and a chair. This complicated our sleeping arrangements a little but we made it work. It was a super cramped room, and needed a good deep clean. The beds were hard and while I can overlook a hard bed for a one night stay, cleanliness shouldnt be optional. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. There was a nasty stain on one bed ruffle. Some dirty stains on one of the headboards, nasty spots in the bathroom, dead bugs in the bathroom windowsill. The bathroom looked like something in my grandmas house-needs updated but I can overlook that if its just clean. Please clean your rooms!!

Weird experience. Called a guy saying we were going to be late. He joked about a rate going up so long that I thought he was serious and almost canceled. Then he blamed my party for being late when we told him our exact time we'd be there and arrived slightly early. The other guy who did my check out was phenomenal, straight to the point, and kind. Rooms were fine. Nothing special

1 star rating because a negative value option was not available. The room #325 is a complete disaster. Filthy. Blood on the walls by the door, looks like someone took a beating by the door. Roof leaked. At some point, someone tried to kick the door down.door jamb separated from wall. Considering sleeping in the car. Do not recommend staying here. The homeless have better accommodations.

My family has been staying here for between 5-6 years, multiple times each year. We really loved it the first few years and everything was great. The last few times we noticed a big difference in the level of cleanliness and the rate at which the rooms were becoming run-down/not kept up. The main manager is pretty abrupt/rude and very uncomfortable to talk to. The last time we stayed was during December 2025 and they did not disclose that the heat was out for the entire property. We checked in with small children and only had a space heater. The rooms were freezing and we were not the only upset clients. The manager was nasty with us when we asked what was going on and did not seem to understand why we had an issue with no heat in December freezing conditions. That night was between 9 and 14 degrees. Between no heat and the level of hatefulness we received, we called choice hotels and asked them to find us another hotel. We had to pack the kids up late and night and move everyone. We still really miss this place and the great memories we had there before it went so far downhill. Everytime we pass it, it feels like such a shame but it’s just not what it used to be. I will say the only bright spot was the lady they and the other guy they had running the desk (Not the manager), they were both genuinely nice folks and were doing the best they could given what they have to work with. I don’t think Christine still works there but she was a gem.

This is not a good place to stay in winter because rooms are heated with space heaters. Everything else was great. The attendant was very nice. They will only give you one extra blanket per room.

Not a bad place for the price. Rooms are dated but clean overall, thought the wine bottle opener inside bathroom true to the age of the place. Old and well used but bed was firm and comfy. T.v. was a bit small for distance between bed and TV stand. Room was cold but the had a space heater inside that made it quit comfortable. Bathroom light was a timer switch. For those needing breakfast just know 8am is serve time. I didnt have time to partake due to early leave needs. So just be aware. It was nice that they dont do incidental holds.

This place was very quaint like staying at your grandparents house. Our room was clean. The breakfast was simple. The breakfast offered was a cold breakfast offering cereal, coffee, juice and muffins. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room. We would stay again. It’s simple and functional.
