Mom got a room for us in Williamsburg for the weekend to recharge and do some shopping. This hotel was overall decent. Only 2 issues we had was the tub floor was not that clean so we showered with slides on and the last night we stayed there, the elevator started acting up. The phone line was ringing in the elevator. We didn’t know what was going on so we told the front desk person. She didn’t seem too concerned about the phone line ringing in the elevator. She just turned it off then shortly after it came right back on as mom and I were going up. Despite her knowing that it was the phone line, I do think she should have been a bit better at handling this and assuring us that everything was ok with the elevator; especially since the elevator was acting up and it was delaying the time that the doors opened verses when the elevator actually would stop. Other than that, the hotel and room were pretty decent with a great location.

Room was clean and as expected, breakfast was good. But Maite at the front desk was amazing! We had a problem with the booking with Hotels.com and Maite was able to navigate the issue and help us come to a resolution. She was incredibly patient, professional, and helpful. Maite was the highlight of our stay

From the beginning when I checked in the staff was so kind, welcoming and helpful! When I got to my room I found it was dirty and requested a different room. Unfortunately they were sold out for the night so they couldn't swap my room BUT the woman who I believe was the night manager immediately came up with me and called up a housekeeper as well to clean the room. I was pleased with the rest of my stay!

Sadly, this stay was not the best experience. The bathroom in the first room we were assigned was dirty and the refrigerator was leaking water all over the floor, so we requested a different room. Fortunately, the second room was much cleaner and in better condition. Overall, the hotel feels a bit rundown and could use some renovations and better maintenance. On the positive side, its location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants, highways, and nearby parks.

Front staff we very kind and the gentleman Draper was Awesome. Checking out Sarah was very nice enough to extend us to Noon! The room was very nice and our bathroom sink was linking and no hot water, they fixed it immediately as I told them thank you. Great overall place to stay for a getaway and reasonable cost espyfor Family reunions. Step up the breakfast bar add hot oatmeal… Overall I’ll be back in December. Ms Chellie

Nothing that stands out about this place. Everything was average or below. Staff was not friendly they were almost rude to a point. The shower curtain was stained. Tub was very slippery we asked for a mat to put inside tub they do not have any those. Every night there were at least one to two bus loads of teens to young adults that were uncontrolled. Running up and down the halls yelling, talking loudly well after midnight. Would like to have had juice or coffee but with so many kids around you couldn’t even get close. Probably only positive thing about this hotel was its location. We won’t be staying there again.

We recently stayed in room 219 for two nights. The room was clean and a good price. The bed was comfortable and the location is good. Unfortunately the bathroom was old, had hair on the floor and the the shower water was barely warm to say the least. It is in front of train tracks and trains come by fairly often and wake you up at 3:30 in the morning. We probably will not return.

The hotel could have better food options. I would include boiled eggs for people that dont eat scrambled eggs and also offer another option such as oatmeal or grits. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, ans the staff was great! The amenities wrre great and the indoor pool is a great option especially in the winter. Overall, my hotel stay was wonderful and I will stay here again.

My stay at the Wingate by Wyndham was a very pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and willing to help with anything I needed. The check-in process was quick and smooth, which made settling in very easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's rest. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the hotel. One of the highlights of the stay was the complimentary breakfast, which offered a nice variety of options to start the day. The location was also convenient, with restaurants and stores nearby. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely consider staying at Wingate by Wyndham again in the future. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything felt well maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The location was convenient for getting around, and we really appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere after long days out. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and was fresh and tasty. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and we would happily stay here again and recommend it to others. Maite was such a sweet host and helped us get situated in a timely manner.
